Life is a series of moments

I really think life becomes easier when you treat it as a series of moments. There are the cute, cozy feeling moments and there are the irritating and nerve stimulating moments. There are the expansive moments and there are the anxious moments. There are the exciting moments and there are dull moments. The important point here is that each of these moments passes us by… if we allow it to…

Can we allow the breakdown of all of life into these tiny fragments, moments and allow ourselves to experience all of it in its full glory? No clinging to the pleasurable ones and not turning away from the uncomfortable ones? Each moment is a gift from nature and a manner in which the divine is experiencing itself. Can we allow that to just be?

From the moment of conception till the moment of death, can we allow ourselves to be free? Occasionally an entanglement may occur, but can our sole focus be to disentangle as soon as possible because freedom is the most important virtue? Can we take breaks from the fast pace of life if necessary, to break down deeper enmeshments that may have formed when we were unaware, helpless?

It may be cliché but can we learn to enjoy the journey of life rather than treat every moment, thought and action as a means to an end?
